Frank was enticed by the sound of accordion at a very young age. He was initially inspired by Jimmy Shand, a traditional Scottish accordion player and Jack Emblow, an English accordionist.

In the early part of his career, he broadcasted on Irish national radio with a céilí band.  With over forty years of experience playing live, Frank incorporates influences of French musette, Jazz and Latin into his playing.
